Delete a jobsite

Delete a jobsite that was created by mistake or is no longer in use. Its supply points are not deleted.

Before you start

• You need the Jobsites: Delete permission to see the Delete Jobsite button, and the Jobsites: Update permission to open the edit dialog. Ask an administrator if you do not see them.

Steps

1. In the sidebar, open Projects and Sites and choose Jobsites.
2. In the Actions column, click the edit icon for the jobsite. The Edit Jobsite dialog opens.
3. Click Delete Jobsite in the lower left of the dialog.
4. Read the warning, then click Delete Jobsite to confirm.

Caution

The confirmation reads Delete Jobsite? and Are you sure you want to delete [jobsite name]? This can’t be undone. Click Cancel if you are not sure.

What happens next

A Jobsite deleted message appears and the jobsite leaves the list. Its supply points stay in the Supply Points section and can be assigned to any jobsite again. If you delete from the jobsite page instead, using the Edit icon in its header, you return to the Jobsites list.

If the deletion fails, the confirmation shows the reason and stays open so you can retry. While Omni is working, the confirm button reads Submitting….
