Jobsite fields and messages

Fields

The Create New Jobsite and Edit Jobsite dialogs share one form in three sections.

Section	Field	Required	Notes
Basic Details	Company	No	Search box; pick an active company from the suggestions.
Basic Details	Jobsite Name	Yes	Up to 200 characters.
Basic Details	Location	No	Up to 300 characters. Picking an address suggestion also stores the full address behind the field.
Jobsite Status	Status	Yes	Planning (default), Active, On Hold or Inactive.
Additional Details	Jobsite Description	No	Multi-line text, up to 2000 characters.

Statuses

Status	Shown as
Planning	Blue badge. The default for a new jobsite.
Active	Green badge with a check mark
On Hold	Yellow badge with a pause icon
Inactive	Red badge

A jobsite can move between any two statuses.

Validation messages

Messages appear under a field once you have visited it.

Message	When it appears
Name is required	You leave Jobsite Name empty.
Name must be 200 characters or fewer	The Jobsite Name is too long.
Company must be 200 characters or fewer	The Company name is too long.
Location must be 300 characters or fewer	The Location is too long.
Description must be 2000 characters or fewer	The Jobsite Description is too long.

Confirmation and result messages

Message	Meaning
Jobsite created	The jobsite was saved and added to the list.
Jobsite updated	Your changes were saved.
Jobsite deleted	The jobsite was removed. Its supply points can be assigned to another jobsite.
Supply point assigned to jobsite	The supply point was added to the jobsite.
Supply points assigned to jobsite	All selected supply points were added to the jobsite.
[n] of [m] supply points assigned.	Only some of your picks were assigned; the reason follows. The tab reloads.
Supply point unassigned from jobsite	The supply point was removed from the jobsite and remains in the Supply Points section.
Loading jobsite…	The edit dialog is fetching the latest values.
Couldn’t load jobsite details.	The edit dialog could not fetch the jobsite. Click Retry.
Discard unsaved changes?	You closed a form with unsaved edits. Discard closes it, Cancel keeps editing.
Couldn’t load more.	The next page of a list failed to load. Click Retry.
